Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 Pro have leaked in photo-realistic images, revealing a redesigned shape and a bold metal grille, giving users their best look yet at the next-gen earbuds.

What Happened: Leak alert! Samsung’s next premium earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, just showed up in their first proper photo leak, thanks to some serious digging by Android Authority inside a One UI 8.5 software build.

  • The leak confirms the overall design we saw earlier this week in some animated drawings, but mentions a cool new feature called “Find Your Phone.”
  • On the charging case, there’s a button that you can press to locate your misplaced phone using sound cues. “Pressing the case button makes your phone rings if it is connected to your phone,” says a string spotted in the code.
  • So far, users have been able to trigger the “find my earbuds” feature on their phone to find their misplaced audio wearable, but Samsung is planning to offer a reverse route, as well.

Why Is This Important: For its next earbuds, Samsung is going with a simple white and black color palette, but the big surprise is a large, noticeable metal grille sitting prominently on the outer side of each earbud. That big grille is definitely raising some eyebrows.

  • Normally, it’s just a tiny pinhole for the noise-cancellation mic. But this one is massive.
  • This suggests Samsung is probably trying to lean into a striking, mic-inspired aesthetic to make the Buds 4 Pro look more “pro-grade” and expensive.
  • The fact that it’s giving the Buds 4 Pro such a distinctive hardware design twist means it’s serious about separating this new model from the older Galaxy Buds.
  • This leak also reinforces the idea that Samsung is giving all of its wearables a major refresh to go with the upcoming Galaxy S26 launch early next year.

Why You Should Care: So, why should you care?

  • If you’re a Samsung user or just looking for the next top-tier pair of Android earbuds, this is your first real look at what’s coming.
  • The rumors promise a lot like better Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), upgraded audio hardware, a refined case that’s easier to use, and most importantly, a design that finally makes them stand out.
  • That large metal grille could mean genuinely better airflow or clearer microphone performance – or it’s just a successful aesthetic move that makes the earbuds feel high-end and instantly recognizable.

What’s Next: The official announcement is just over a month away, expected alongside the Galaxy S26 series.

  • Given how quickly the leaks are pouring out – animations, specs, and now photos – more information is basically guaranteed to surface soon.
  • The report says it still has more One UI 8.5 assets to examine, so fans should keep hitting refresh.
  • The next leak could easily give us the full specs or battery life details.
