By Matthew CoudenShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberWith John Cena's final match quickly approaching, WWE fans are anticipating who his last opponent in the ring will be. To add to the intrigue, Cena revealed his "Last Time is Now" tournament to determine who he'll face at December's "Saturday Night's Main Event."
Matches kicked off last week on "Monday Night Raw," with Rusev defeating Damian Priest and Sheamus winning against Shinsuke Nakamura. On last week's SmackDown, viewers saw LA Knight defeat his mystery opponent, Zack Ryder, and Jey Uso beat The Miz.
Two more matches occurred on this week's Raw, including Solo Sikoa defeating the returning Dolph Ziggler, and GUNTHER getting the win against rising NXT star Je'Von Evans. There will be two matches on the blue brand, with Penta vs. Finn Balor and Carmelo Hayes vs. Bronson Reed.
One of Cena's former colleagues in WWE, Hall of Famer Mark Henry, shared his take on how Cena's final match should play out and offered an idea for a bold twist during "Saturday Night's Main Event."

...During TMZ’s “Inside the Ring,” Henry suggested that Cena should end on a high note by leaving with a win on "Saturday Night's Main Event." However, he doesn’t think the win should be over the tournament winner.
"Even if it was GUNTHER, I would be satisfied," he said regarding the final match, adding, "But then I still would want dessert. I would want Joe Hendry to come out and say, 'I didn't make it in the tournament, but before you leave, I want you to allow me the privilege of being in the ring with you.'"
Henry pitched that Hendry wouldn't actually fight Cena in a match, though. Instead, he suggested that Hendry would lie on his back in the ring so he could take a pinfall from Cena to add to his professional wrestling record.
"When you do things that are emotional and you do things that require heartstrings to be pulled, that's how you make it in wrestling. You have to emotionally affect people. It's not about being in tight clothes and flips, it's the storytelling," Henry said.
Henry has been one of the significant stories of this past year, due to his quick rise to fame in TNA, leading to appearances on NXT and reportedly a WWE contract. He had a massive WrestleMania moment when he surprisingly arrived at the ring to challenge WWE star Randy Orton in a match.
Having Hendry participate in Cena's tournament or in his final moments before retiring from in-ring competition would undoubtedly help push him towards superstardom, should WWE decide to do so. However, it's rare to see a moment like Mark Henry pitched happen in today's WWE.
