Would you meet yourself? That is, to come face-to-face with your doppelganger – someone who looks exactly like you but is not a relation.
The odds of two people having the same face are one in a trillion, according to forensic anthropologist Dr Teghan Lucas.
Many of us believe we have celebrity lookalikes – for better or for worse. But what if your doppelganger was someone from the past?
A museum in Poland believes it has found the spitting image of Hollywood legend Robert De Niro – and invited the actor to meet him during a trip to the Eastern European country.
National Museum in Wrocław, Poland’s third largest city, is home to the portrait of a 17th-century nobleman by Bartlomiej Strobel whom vistors have said looks remarkably similar to the Godfather star.

Johann Vogt, a landowner and member of Wrocław city council, even has the same unqiue mole on his right cheek.
Looking at the painting of the nobleman, which dates back as far as 1629, when he was 52 years old, his face feels all too familiar.
In fact the portrait has risen to fame due to Vogt’s resemblance to De Niro, or rather the actor’s uncanny similarity to the painting.
Piotr Oszczanowski, director of the National Museum, said the pair have ‘a few distinctive features in common’ and ‘the same twinkle in their eyes’.
And according to the Historia Poszukaj website: ‘Visiting a gallery of modern Silesian art, any Robert De Niro fan is in for a surprise.
‘A lookalike of the American actor peers out from a 17th-century portrait set in a richly carved and gilded frame. Even the famous mole is in its proper place.
‘The eye-catching, subtly modelled face contrasts with the neutral background and the blending clothing, further emphasised by the white, lace-trimmed collar.
‘The coat of arms in the upper corner indicates the von Vogten family, and the painting’s date – 1628 – suggests that the portrait may have been of Johann (1576–1636), the starost of Wrocław, who was then 52 years old.

Earlier this month De Niro took a trip to Poland, visiting Warsaw and Kraków, where his Nobu hospitality group has investments.
In a social media post, the museum invited the actor to meet his twin, saying: ‘Robert de Niro in Poland! During his visit, will he visit Wroclaw to see the portrait of his “ancestor” displayed in our Museum?’
However he did not make an appearance after a previous invitation in 2017.
