By Matthew RobinsonShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberA baby lounger sold by Walmart has been recalled due to the risk of serious injury or death in children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CSPS) announced.
Nuoxuann has recalled a select number of its Bearlala Baby Loungers due to the risk of entrapment and fall hazards.
Separately, the Pennsylvania based comapny LPA1, LLC, doing business as Little Partners, announced a recall of its Grow 'N Stow Folding Learning Tower due to a fall hazard.
Newsweek has contacted Nuoxuann and Little Partners for comment by email.
...Why It Matters
The CPSC warned that the baby loungers violate the mandatory standard for infant sleep products. It said for the folding learning tower that a platform inside the product can collapse, "posing a fall hazard to young children."
...What To Know
The products impacted by the recalls are the following:
- Bearlala Baby Loungers - around 300.
- Grow 'N Stow Folding Learning Tower - around 9,780 - model number: LP01711 - date codes: 202409 to 202501
The baby loungers feature a foam sleeping pad on the bottom, padded bumpers and cloth cover in light gray with a leaf pattern.
"The sides are too low to contain an infant. The enclosed openings at the foot of the loungers are wider than allowed, posing fall and entrapment hazards to infants," said the CSPC. "In addition, the baby loungers do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard, if used on elevated surfaces. These violations create an unsafe sleeping environment and can cause death or serious injury to infants."
The product was sold on Walmart.com between August and October 2025 for between $35 and $45.
As of November 20, no incident or injuries had been reported in connection with the use of the product.
Meanwhile, the learning tower is made from wood with a natural finish. It was sold online by Walmart, Amazon, Little Partners, Wayfair, Etsy, GoodBuy Gear, buybuy BABY, and Bed Bath & Beyond between December 2024 and September 2025 for around $100.
As of November 20, there had been 14 reports of the tower collapsing, including one report of a child sustaining bruises.
...What People Are Saying
The CPSC said regarding the baby loungers: "Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled baby loungers and contact Nuoxuann for a full refund."
The CPSC said regarding the learning towers: "Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Grow 'N Stow Folding Learning Tower, keep it away from children and contact Little Partners to receive a free repair kit that includes a new crossbar with pin tabs and installation instructions. The new crossbar will have a sticker indicating that it is no longer part of the recall."
What Happens Next
The recalls are listed as ongoing, according to the CPSC.
Consumers who purchased the baby loungers should email photos of the destroyed item to [email protected] for a full refund.
Consumers who purchased the learning towers are advised to remove the old crossbar and throw it away.
